RESNET Level-1 HESP Online Course

This 16-hour HESP e-Learning course will prepare you for the RESNET HESP Certification Exam. The course is divided into 10 sessions and covers all the foundational building energy and construction science to begin a career as a home energy professional. A Level-1 Home Energy Survey Professional (HESP) is qualified to conduct a walk-through assessment of the general energy performance problems and make basic recommendations for improvements or further analysis. Combined RESNET Level 1 & 2 HESP Course

The curriculum includes 26-hours of e-Learning, a 90-min Energy Audit training DVD and 1-day of onsite field training. Topics include BPI Building Evaluation Standards, heat loss and savings calculations, step-by-step energy audit & diagnostic procedures, developing and prioritizing a retrofit work scope.
